So summer is all about bright colours, denim cut-offs, cute-sie sandals etc. right?! WRONG. It's all about rocking all black errythang with a flower crown and a kimono. Well, that's what it's all about for me anyway. There is nothing more chic than an all black outfit with just a splash of colour or pattern. That's exactly what I love about this look. It's plain and simple, easy to wear, comfy (apart from the heels obvs), and it is city-gal chic at it's best in my opinion... even though I live in the countryside.
My flower crown is rocking my world at the moment. I got it in Dunnes Stores. It is such a cute and quirky little piece and I just love it. The Kimono and black 'Leigh' jeans are both from Topshop. The black loose fitting string top and strappy shoes are both from Pennys/ Primark.
I wanted to keep this look simple and chic so I went for a small pearl necklace. I have no idea where it was purchased as it used to belong to my Nana. This is my favourite piece of jewelry that I have ever owned I think. The rings are from Pennys/ Primark, Claire's Accessories, and a little crystals shop in Poland.
How would you style a cool kimono like this one? Let me know in the comments.
