I had my TIMA make-up class again this week, it's just dawning on me now that I only have one week left. I wish I could do it forever, seriously! We were taught by a lovely Make-up artist today who is actually a past student of this TIMA course so it's really cool to see her doing so well in her career after learning exactly what I'm learning now. We started the day by being filmed for a promo video, so I'll link that here on the blog as soon as I get my hands on it. We tried our hand at 60's style make-up today, very simple and beautiful. It's all about the eyes and making them look big and doll-like by use of light colours and liquid or gel eye liner. Think... Twiggy! I really want to start incorporating more 60's vibes in to my own make-up look. It was suuuuch lovely make-up to apply because it resembles looks that we would actually wear out on a daily basis as opposed to the more out-there stuff that we've been doing in past weeks. In the afternoon we turned up the colour a couple of notches and did Egyptian style make-up. It was suuuuper cool to do, I think that after doing an Avant Garde look a few weeks ago and a Drag Queen look last week I was less afraid of the colour and the wild and wonderful Egyptian look today and really just embraced it. Also, I'm far happier with how this turned out than I am with any of the other looks we've done so far! So, hands up who wants to be an Egyptian queen for halloween next year?! Because I know I do!
